What is Forex?
Lesson: 1
Now let’s talk about the busiest time in forex, the London session. It’s like the beating heart of all trading sessions. But do you know what is interesting? On certain days of the week, all of the marketplaces become a little more alive.
Let’s figure out the best days to start forex trading.
Take a look at this chart showing the average movement (we call it pip range) for the major pairs on each day of the week
Now, look at the chart. It reveals the truth, the real action occurs in the middle of the week. That’s when things become lively in the currency market.
Fridays are becoming increasingly rare. The rush lasts until 12:00 p.m. EST, following which the market appears to take rest until 5:00 p.m. EST. So we call it a half-day on Fridays.
Guess what? The weekend feeling begins early.
Thus, we now know the ideal times to begin trading forex after all of this. The busiest days usually give the best prospects because increased volatility creates more opportunity for us traders.
Unless you’re a vampire like Edward Cullen, who never sleeps, trading all day and night is simply not practicable.
Sure, the forex market is open 24 hours a day, but that doesn’t imply it’s a party all the time!
Let’s be genuine, Sleep is important. You know, the thing you do to recharge so you can do everyday tasks like conversing with your spouse, walking the dog, or even tending to your stamp collection. And hey, if you want to be a rockstar trader, you need to rest up.
So, Every trader must understand when to jump into the action.
Actually, reconsider that.
Every trader needs to know when to enter the game and, more significantly, when to relax and play Fortnite or whatever your favourite game is.
Trade when two sessions perform a little dance together! Yes, those overlapping moments may be really interesting. It’s like a party where important news arrives, ready to shake things up and make the market dance.
Don’t forget to bookmark the Market Hours cheat sheet. That is your cheat code for knowing when the doors will open and close.
And, We have a nice tool called the Forex Market Time Zone Converter. It’s like magic. Simply check it out, and it will tell you which trading session is now active in your local time zone.
Sundays are a day of relaxation for everyone, right? We’re all catching up on sleep or enjoying the weekend vibes!
Fridays are when things calm down, particularly in the last part of the US session. It’s like the market saying, ‘See you later, alligator.’
Holidays, everyone’s taking a rest, including the currency market!
Beware of getting cheated during major news incidents! It’s like attempting surfing during an earthquake, not a good idea.
And, hey, if you find yourself single because you picked forex over your significant other, do not worry! Wait for the next London session. Love can wait, but pips cannot.
